Third-Party Integration

What is Third-Party Integration?

Third-party integration is the process of connecting an application with an external service, platform, or software system developed by another provider. These integrations allow a mobile app to use external functionality or exchange data with services such as payment systems, databases, analytics platforms, cloud services, and other business tools.

Why it matters

Third-party integrations expand the functionality of a mobile app without requiring every feature to be developed from scratch. For businesses using a no-code app builder, integrations can connect the application with services that are already part of existing workflows. Depending on the service, the connection may use an API or another supported integration method.

Example

A company creates a mobile app and connects it to an external payment service. The third-party integration allows customers to make payments through the app while the payment provider handles transaction processing.
