App Store Connect
What is App Store Connect?
App Store Connect is Apple’s platform for managing applications distributed through the App Store. Developers and businesses use it to create and manage app records, upload builds, configure app information and pricing, add screenshots and other metadata, submit applications for review, publish new versions, and monitor information related to their apps.
Why it matters
An iOS app cannot simply be uploaded directly to the App Store without going through Apple’s publishing infrastructure. App Store Connect is a central part of the iOS app publishing process and is used to prepare an app for review and manage it after release. Businesses creating iOS apps with a no-code app builder may still need App Store Connect to provide required information and complete the publication process.
Example
A company creates an iOS mobile app using an app builder. When the app is ready for publication, the company uses App Store Connect to add its store information and screenshots, manage the submitted build, and send the application to Apple for App Store review.
